So i got owned, 21-10, as i predicted. But it was an intense sweating session, none like those i've had recently. Dont know how people can play indoor sports, its fcking hotttttttt. No wind at all. MAD.

My hands are shaking as i type. And i foresee it is going to ache like free tomorrow. Ask me again tomorrow if my prediction is correct.

And as usual, there must always be food on tiff day, well it is tiff you see. Amazing gastronomia tiramisu today, courtesy of her uncle. I'm sorry coffeeclub, we're not coming today as we usually do, shall not see our queen waitresses this monday :'(

Well, this is the last monday before i start school, of which is similar to signing on in the army. Hopefully tiff days will still continue and not sparse out. Dont cry!

Prefab camp is overr, rather liked it actually. Except for the sleep-on-the-floor part, a bit cold, a bit only. Preferred it over other camps I went for, prolly because we are like-minded people, all want to build things, (sound like construction workers).

I hereby announce that I have signed away the next 5 years of my life, prolly more, but we try 5 years first la hor. Yet I think I will survive, somehow. The constant call of people telling you to quit, saying how hard it is just makes me want to get it done, like finally something I can say i'm a master at. No more jack of all trades master of none.

(In case you're thinking im praising myself saying im a master, when i get through 5 years i really am one whattttttt- Master of Architecture)

But you know, school starts next week. Next week i take the leap into a new part of my life. Hopefully i'll dare to jump and not keep gripping the window sill only. Aigoo.

3 days of camp and I slept a grand total of less than 6 hours. Which is amazing for me because i'm little miss lazy/sleepy/blur number 1. Haii "Early morning late at night, RAHRAHRAHRAHRHAHRAHRAAHRHRHARAH"

But because of the crazy amount of energy going round somehow we all survived it, although if THIS is hall life i think i will die. I mean like 3 days and im so shag ready, what more 3 years man. aww shucks! Anyway my OG was RYAN SEACREST, cause the theme was hollywood, and there was like miley cyrus and chris brown and other random stars. And as usual because Joanne Gay is loud and noisy, she will kena sabo to become cheer IC again. Felt like VJ freshmen orientation all over again, except this time im the freshie, not the OGL. Which reminds me.. "OOOOHHHHHHHHHHH! WE'RE MOVIN IN WE'RE MOVING OUT, OGLS LETS HEAR YOU SHOUTetcetc"

Shit im so excited to stay in hall already. Yesterday i was thinking about all the activities i want to join, like cheerleading, rag, floorball, soccer and of course cannot forget softball. But during dinner with coach and jiaolian after training, suddenly and as always during a conversation they will start talking about me AGAIN. As if like a wet blanket to my hall involvement aspirations, jiaolian started telling me again that i suck cause i want to do everything, so i cant be good at something (Lovelies, you know what she's talking about -- my outfield/catcher/ everything also want to play argument). HAIIIZ so maybe i'll just play softball all year in hall lah hor.

MUDDY MUD PACK

I just decided to pamper myself and did a mud mask, which felt really weird because all these I've been trying to stay out the mud, but tonight I decided to put some on my face -.- Really, I believe I have some affinity with all things muddy. Jumping into mud during Tiffany's photoshoot, falling into some muddy puddle today, having muddy mud pie, and now muddy mud pack. What's next? (errrrrr) muddy mud rice?

And this was the reason of my required pampering. 12 hours of cashiering has rendered me currently in a state of vulnerability resulting in my lowered threshold towards persuasive people.

Whoever dares to tell me cashiering is chicken feet will end up walking with chicken feet. My head was spinning yesterday from the amount of things to cash and explain to customers. Credit, charge slip, memo, validation, thankyouhaveaniceday, ZRAH ZRAH ZRAHH.

In the midst of all my unexcitement, my dear laptop whose name is Madelina, decided to stop receiving wireless signals, signalling the beginning of my wireful days. So in order to end my misery I called up HP to find out what was wrong, and lo and behold, my call went to India! So Josef was right after all about Indian call centres, all these while half suspected he was making things up.

So it was really difficult to understand what the guy was saying, but I have to say they're really good and polite and patient, and the service rocks. I was going to ask where I have to send my Madelina to for servicing when he ask for my address and said they will pick it up from my house and send it back later. My gosh, airfare to India must be really cheap then. I'm impressed!

Anyhow I am bored out of my wits, so something to cheer everyone up.

The pants at Mango are usually longer than your legs. Thats why we offer alteration services for free. Due to the large volume it takes at least 10 days, which customers usually have no problem with. ITS FREE ANYWAY.

But yesterday I had the most -.- conversation with this woman. It went like this-

Woman: SO LONG? DO YOU SEND IT TO CHINA OR SOMETHING??
Me: (In actual fact, we do! wtf is wrong with you.)

I HATE GETTING COLD FEET

Its a terrible feeling when you step into the showers and turn on the tap before the water has a chance to get hot, and while the rest of your body is tucked safely away from that detestful thing, your poor feet get hit by the water. Just because they're on the floor.

What a reason. Thus as i was lamenting the lack of luck of my dear feet (I mean, maybe they wanted to be hands, or noses, or armpits or something), I thought it would be best to compensate them by treating them nicer. Which means make everything they touch nicer. And yes that would entail carpeting my whole house in the finest fur and never walking on the road.

And before i start rambling on and sounding like the 'lub-of-my-life' Mr Seah on his 'I-want-to-compete-who-is-harder' blog, let me go back to my original point, which was to give my feet nicer things. And on this note i would like everyone to join me in sending off a very loyal companion, my old pair of sneakers i secretly affectionately named Mimi - she has served me very well in the best years, and despite my father's great surgical efforts, i believe its time to let go.

So let us bode farewell. (One minute of silence.)

And since i believe every funeral should be a celebration of life well lived, please join me in celebrating my new pair of sneakers whom i secretly affectionately name SAN (its a Secret Affectionate Name.) :)

Okay, lets dispense the formalities and begin the serious stuff. I was only writing like that to impress any NUS professor who might chance upon this and offer me a space based on my writing flair.

So i was sick. Which came after this.

Its a mighty crazy experience i tell you, when your body fails and your brain talks rubbish. I sneezed so much that i thought someone kept thinking of me, then i wondered who it could be but no answer popped up. So i thought maybe i should call every possible person who could be thinking of me. But the first person on my list i would call is in hongkong (tiffany). so shucks. thus i tried to think of people to counter the evil thinking of me (thats like how counter curses work right?) and hopefully pass the sneeze on - hey! sounds like a facebook app, like toss the hot potato! Yep so if any of you are sneezing right now, please tell me so i know my thinking worked, thanks.

And you know while being sick i've had alot of time to think. Hence since i've felt myself coughed up some abs, clever me thought up a slimming programme! Lets get people to come to a room where there is the cough virus, they catch is and cough themself silly for maybe an hour, then go home with some cough syrup disguised as vitamin water. Then next week they come for another session. Combine that idea with some ridiculous promises, beautiful centres and 'convincing' before/after photos, we'll have the money rollin' in!

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Just when i thought i haven't had enought holidays, school comes back to haunt me prematurely in the form of Isetan's Dinner & Dance, with the blasted theme. Yet what started of seriously reminding me of prom became quite an interesting night. Its not every day you see your boss sit on the floor taking pictures like an excited kid, its quite a drastic change from his normal sullen self, 0.0

And yes, that is me you see. the only time you'll catch me in that is when i'm forced to. As we all know, a bit of alcohol can do wonders to your courage, before your sanity catches up with it. Add it to crazy mango girls, japanese rockstar wannabe managers, and our dear enthu aunties, you get one big fat party. Serious, i was more high than i was at prom. Even the annoying longggg winded emcee didn't down our high spirits and all around you hear raucous laughter admist while cheering. I guess the Company does make a difference, and i'm just glad to be a part of the one big Isetan family.. aww :)

Hello friends, i have decided to stop disappointing wenshu and add a post here.

So recently, admist all the small dramas, life has gone back to a slight routine. Helping coach with c div is back breaking, knee injuring and really muscle aching. Shows how unfit i currently am, but its okay, i miss sweating.

So i've ended a certain chapter in my life by letting go. Which brought about a certain liberation from the past and apprehension about the future. My dreams to have my own building continue to dwell in my mind, yet i know not what the future brings, or more importantly, what God planned for me to come. So,

I'm not so sure about the whole Valentine's Day thing, i don't think its right to treat the person you love better for just one day. You should be treating her well EVERYDAY, then treat her worse during Valentine's Day just for the heck of it, it'll be a nice change. (O.O)

Yahwell, the next best thing to do on Valentine's other than lamenting the lack of your love life and cursing those inseperable couples, is to find some kids and have mad fun yourselves, which is what i did :) loads of laughter and fun guaranteed when you go bowling with crazy kids who try to break the floor everytime.

No, thats not the face i'm giving for spending most of my tuesday with tiffany. Which was fun and crazy by the way. We rented bikes and decided to go find tau huey for lunch. So it was eastcoast - fort road - tanjong rhu - kallang - nicoll highway - suntec - city hall - bugis - TAU HUEY!! Its super good, the one beside the more famous rochor one. Smooooth, and not too sweet and aww YUMM! We should bring josef there one day, he'll eat so much he'll become a girl. Oh and a shop beside it sold tofu tarts, like egg tarts. We'll buy some for Dahlia one day :)

Yeah so then when we went back we were kinda overshooting the time limit, and it RAINED. bloody. cats. and. dogs. Wah its so pain, them droplets. Seriously drenched like wet ducks, wet being from the rain, ducks being from the bike ride..

Back to my face anyhows, this is the close up.

6 years of playing catcher has made me used to wearing mask and not having to siam when the ball hits my face. I guess i kinda forgot this time. :/ But at least it was a good hit, straight back to the pitcher's face. That was something i've always wanted to achieve to a certain other pitcher from the moon.. hmm. funny how things worked out. :X

I hope my eyebrow hairs grow back.
Or else it'll be like ^ ' instead of ^^

Dissatisfaction, i think, is the unhappiest thing.

Its been really long since i blogged, almost a month, im impressed.

Lets just talk about major events then.

Major Event 1: SDD!

Our table was a general mix of prettehs and dingdongs, but we love them all the same. Amazingly it was kinda fun, even with terrible lighting which is very uncondusive to camwhore in. Add in the fact that i dont have a camwhore compatible camera, you get dismal pitures -.- butt, it was still good to go gallivanting with my girls out in the middle of the night in inappropriate attire (the last time we were in our jammies, hurhur). I guess, while being around each other so much makes us immune to the company at times, its those random madness that makes us miss those times together :) It was really good while it lasted, before i turned into a cranky bitch. heh.

Major Event 2: Zoo with MKC!!

Fun day it was at the zoo, reminded me of the time i went with my lovelies, haha. We trapized with the creepy crawlies and travelled to madagascar where we saw Alex and Gloria and Melman. I think they were filming Madagascar 3 and the storyline is something like this:

Alex becomes the King of the jungle, taking over from his daddy.

Gloria is too depressed after motomoto (its so nice you've to say it twice) calls her fat, large, fat, voluptous, fat, and thus sinks during her afternoon nap.

Melman grieves from the lost of his only love, but soon falls for another person after he finds out that he cant marry Gloria cause she's too heavy to carry on the wedding day.

And Marty pranced off with his whole herd of Marty-ians.

Jacqlene cant believe what i just said.

Oh guess what! We say Maurice too! Too bad the King was nowhere to be found or we'd have thought him the yeay yeay cheer! whoo!

Major Event 3: Working at Isetan!!!

Gift wrapping, is actually an essential skill. From doing that for 6 days a week for 2 weeks, i found out that MANY people cannot wrap a present for nuts. Thats why you need us, hence by induction, GIFT WRAPPING IS AN ESSENTIAL SKILL (take that daddy!) I love the service industry, really. You meet all sorts of people - nice people (rare), kiasu people (abundant), crazy aunties who you'll be like O.o at what they say (quite a few). Seriously, come people are really nuts, i feel like laughing at them when they appear.

Buttt, that 2 weeks passed really quick, during which i had really fun times with my gift wrap girls :) working hard together, getting high on wrapping and laughing at nothing at night, hiding mimi our malnourished pet dinosaur (...), helping each other when there were large orders.. Record was 62 presents a customer. But now recession la, mostly they buy like 20 cups/ towels and make us wrap them individually. Next year if its still bad economically, i expect them to like buy one large towel and cut into 20 pieces to wrap seperately.

Okay thats all, maybe i'll be back after a month, meanwhile, you can always visit me.

We'll play hide and seek at Isetan katong! :)

At this point of reflecting i just realised that VJ is damn freaking ZAI.
Even Chef de mission of Singapore's Olympic contingent, Dr Tan Eng Liang, said that even though he's from RI, he thinks VJC is the true winner, the true Victorian :)

BUUTT, i went book shopping yesterday!

Finished this in a day, its quite addictive hmm,
havent done such much reading since the harry potter times when i'll hide myself in bed reading till the wee hours in the night then getting scared as i read that wizards are coming to abduct me. -.-
Now im scared the vampires are coming to suck my blood..
ugh, dont like blood. i fainted the last time i got bitten by my hamster called henry, that terrible thing.

Ive been longing to get this to read since the start of the year,
this time, unlike Pride and Prejudice, its UNABRIDGED.

Curiously interesting, recommended my Azlin.
I know starbucks coffee saves my life sometimes, especially the hot chocolate :D

Well, after all that to help me escape from reality, i still feel unsettled.
Like one part of me wants to relax properly before starting the cycle again, another part says i need all the time in the world to study.

My birthday this year was marked by sickness.

But i couldnt last outside for long so i pangsehed tiffany botanic gardens and went home to sleep. garh headache, sore throat, chills fever, the works. i just felt like toppling over everytime i stood up. which sucks. so i spent the rest of my birthday in bed and watching tv :/ at least there were cute olympic guys playing on tv :D german table tennis (who won) and belgium soccer (who won too). two very exciting matches. my head almost popped watching them.

Okay that was very long.
Well this morning i awoke feeling worse :'( so i didnt go to church :(:(:(
But i believe that God is still healing me slowly, maybe its not a instant recovery cause He wants me to rest and shut up more (mommy says my throat hurts cause i talk too much). But i know he's working because ysterday with mjm when we were singing and worshipping at the beach i didnt feel sick, i felt so much better and believed God was healing me then. And mel and jeanne introduced this song called 'Desert Song' by hillsongs and we sang it abit and we felt really really calm and at peace :)

This morning when i felt so terrible i went youtubing and i came across two songs that really encouraged and lifted my spirit. The first was 'Footprints in the sand' by Leona Lewis (prev post), she's really talented and pretty, and i heard the song and started to cry because

and at that moment i felt that it was God speaking to me, that in my sickness He is still there. We may be so annoyed and upset when we're sick,but we dont know what the big picture is, we dont know His perfect plan, so it is in our weakest point that we submit it all to God and just wholeheartedly trust Him!

And then i watched 'desert song',

and i cried some more. and at that moment, it didnt hurt when i swallowed, i couldnt believe it, it was so amazing my throat wasnt pain AT ALL. it was so unbelievable and i was like ?!!!?!?!??!. So i guess my disbelief was bad because the pain came back when the song ended. BUT STILL, i was whoa, amazing!

And i guess this is why i believe in God, I know He is real not because the Bible says so or others tell me so, but because God shows me so, that He is there always, and i'll always find His footprints in the sand.

the most agonizing day.

the agonizing days to follow. (i hate panadol, now ive to rely on it -.-)

let me explain..

Seven days ago i thought my tailbone was acting up again.

Six days ago i think my tailbone was acting up again.

Five days ago i dont think its my tailbone acting up again.

Four days ago popped up a stupid sore.

Three days ago i couldn't sit still in econs tutorial because stupid sore grew fat and pussy. lol sorry pus-sy, i meant.

Two days ago i thought i could go to the polyclinic's, get better medicine and get back into school without missing math lecture.

But then the doctor took one look at the fat pimply thing and said: "aiyo, cannot, must cut. Okay! go A&E"

and im like, " what? now?!"

then i cab down to changi and the A&E's quite empty so i admit myself and the lady at the counter tells me, "okay that'll be $75, ...do you want to pay now?"

and i give her the shocked face and go: "uhhh, no?"

i suspect she added in the second part after looking at me and realising that thats more than my week's allowance (if i dont do housework.)

so very soon after a nurse attempts to suffocate my arm taking the blood pressure, i meet this happy round doctor who says i need to be admitted to cut the fat pimple away. And im so shocked cause i never stayed in a hospital before so she says "its okay, more life experiences can write better GP essay".

yeah so that day i got admitted.

that night i got my pilonidal abscess in the right sacral region lateral to the anal cleft saucerised. (whoever understands that i'll buy you milo pearl)

but i think the surgery was kinda cool, like im in some tv show where they push you in the opertion theatre. and put you to sleep. haha all i could remember was when i went in it was kinda cold, there was a young doctor dude wearing pink under the surgical dress who i thought was kinda handsome, then they injected some colourless liquid into my blood which i thought was like some suger thing to make me less hungry(stupid girl), and then the doctor asked me where i was studying and i still can happily tell him "VJC!!" and the next thing i knew i woke up shivering violently with very pain butt.

but still it was kindafunn :)

I WENT TO THAILAND.

we arrived promptly at 4:32pm, just like the brochure said we would, and met our tour guide Mister Najib Madina, in short, M&M. (He's a very interesting fellow) He said this spot, (check out where he's pointing to) was where the first toilet was built, but it got demolished in the end to give way to the highway.

so we set out in rows of three. odd, but we didnt think much of it.

it was the monsoon season, so things were dropping from the sky like the rain. we were all quite afraid.

then a brave young man in our tourgroup raised his staff and declared: ~~"Let my people go!~~ Do not fear, umbrella man is here!"

so without more worry, we continued on our tour of the land of smiles..

As a former model, Mr tourguide was demonstrating to us how he posed when took part in the Mr Thailand peagent, where he was crowned Mr Statuesque. He had many fans, he said beaming, male and female alike.

so we thought we'd try our hand at posing too.

then leading us down the walkway to our hotel, he explained why he couldnt stay with us in the same hotel.

the reason, as we soon found out, was that he was too tall.

As for Leon, i think he found that it was just the right height, so he was real cosy that night.

we went out later that night to find dinner,

and were greeted at the restaurant by a gay waiter, who served us with glee.

but the menu was so messed up and difficult to read, i ended up eating some long wormy looking things.

during the free shopping time later, i saw this sign and thought, you mean the water i used in private wasnt from the tap?

but i brushed away that thought at the sight of the city's most famous shopping belt. the charisma and charm of this area was alluring, and i really loved their 'closed-door' shopping technique. you had to look through little peepholes to see what they sold and transaction was by coins. like, how cool is that?

the atmosphere in this city is really one-of-a-kind, with people picnicing everywhere,

and where money grew on trees ondoors,

and where people pointed to their noses to tell you that you smell really nice.

we've had fun in this place with Mr tourguide,

and Mr Cameraman,

and we bid all a fond goodbye as Leon rode us all back home on his tuk-tuk.

we went to walk across the old causeway for half an hour, its so eerie, not a soul there.
it was a derelict place, left barren, and deserted,
and when you see random movements you have to be ready,for any attacks, cause you never know who is trying to steal their way into this protected place.the sign on the fence clearly says,"trespassers will be shot on sight"they give no warning, so we crept in fear.

the old woodlands checkpoint,

this place is so old they actually blend oil, maybe its like their honey milk tea ice blend. wonder how it tastes.

see i told you we went across the causeway. SERIOUS (not)

this is the new checkpoint, and the old one's just RIGHT beside it. huge contrast okay.

Physical and Human Geography: A Marriage on the Rocks. Discuss.

“Till Death Do Us Part”

The very last line in the marriage vow is by far the most important, yet hardest to comprehend, and it was many years ago that the Human and Physical components of our surroundings had uttered this vow and forgone their single statuses to come under the large umbrella of Geography.

Currently, debate is rife about separating its long lasting union, speculation that they were never meant to be. They are worlds apart, with Human Geography likened to Art and Physical Geography likened to Science. Michael Naish outlines the developing views of the scope of school Geography in the United Kingdom during the late 1960s, where the whole syllabus underwent a ‘conceptual revolution’ to include more systematic and scientific teaching methods. The dominating element of this revolution was the attempt to explain phenomena through a more scientific approach, which involved posing and testing of hypotheses or construction of conceptual models to fit reality. This heavily undermined the Art aspect of Geography as the Science component wielded its mighty influence over both the Human and Physical parties, thereby unearthing the first signs of tension between the couple.

To further exasperate the situation, ‘it is often argued that Geography has not a distinct subject matter … but a distinctive point of view from which study is conducted’, hence nullifying the ‘marriage’ as there is no platform at all. As described by Joan Nunes, the superfluous nature of geographic content has made it difficult to define what is regarded within its scope, causing much discrepancy. The broad category of Geography is most effectively captured by William Hughes:

“Geography … seeks to classify phenomena (alike of the natural and of the political world, in so far as it treats of the latter), to compare, to generalize, to ascend from effects to causes, and, in doing so, to trace out the great laws of nature and to mark their influences upon man... In a word Geography is a Science—a thing not of mere names but of argument and reason, of cause and effect.”

It is an ambition to describe the world.

Yet, Duncan Hawley argues that “one of the key justifications for the place of Geography in the curriculum is its position as a bridge between the sciences and the arts”. More often than not are Physical forces of nature at odds with Human communities, in a confrontation where only one party can emerge victorious. However, it is through such incidences can we see the bridging role Geography plays. Antony Milne speaks about the Vikings who sailed the North Atlantic during the warm periods of 1,000 AD, only to be inhibited shortly after due to dramatic variations in the climate, hence disrupting their exploration. Already we see the broad coverage of Geography shaping the explanation, bringing in the Human factor of the Vikings, being maritime nomads, and the Physical factor of climate change.

In Man versus Weather episodes like the recent Hurricane Katrina as an example, extensive implications arise. Primarily, the formation of a hurricane and its effect on the land it travels over constitutes the Physical component. This includes the study of how to prevent extensive damage by building barriers and implementing warning systems and codes to inform residents of any impending bad weather. Conversely, the Human component it made up of more relational effects such as how the residents respond to the warnings given, and with prior information on their vulnerability to such events, how to structure their settlements in a way that can best withstand this onslaught.

Through the years, natural disasters have wrecked havoc on Humans, and in each and every newspaper report, a Geographic stance is always adopted. The articles not only involve the explanation of how the disaster came about, but also what happened to the people affected by it, hence showing the duel approach that is essentially Geography.

Thus, to quote from the marriage vows, ‘for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health’, I believe the unity of Geography remains, ‘till death do us part’.

Dear loved ones,

As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honour and i think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time, there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.

It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that i did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they dont know the meaning of the celebration.

I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honour. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, turkey, honey baked ham, assorted nuts and log cakes. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honour and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, i was left outside, they closed the door in my face... and i wanted to be with them and share their table.

In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years they all closed their doors to me. Since i wasn't invited, i decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time! To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered thhe room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" ... as if the party were in his honour!

At 12 midnight all the people began to hug each other; i extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and, do you know, no one did. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all was opened, i looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me. But there was none left.

How would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? i then understood that i was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago i came into this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, i only want that you believe this with all your heart.

I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, i will have my own celebration, a grand party that no one has every imagined, a spectacular party. I'm still making the final arrangements. Today i am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and i will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden latters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer to invite, will be left outside.

Be prepared because when all is ready you will bw part of my great party.

On one hand, im starting to like how my essay is turning out, so im not so sure if i wanna drop anymore.
Yet, i've so much on my small hands.

Sometimes i think about the future,
and i think about what's gonna happen,
and i try to think of how my life would turn out.

I DONT KNOW.
i could be an architect, my childhood dream.
or an air stewardess, though lacking two cm.

This heavily undermined the Art aspect of Geography as the Science component took over as head of the household with its mighty influence on both the Human and Physical parties.

To further exasperate the situation, ‘it is often argued that Geography has not a distinct subject matter compared to other sciences but a distinctive point of view from which study is conducted’, hence touting the ‘marriage’ as illegitimate. As described by Joan Nunes, the superfluous nature of geographic content has made it difficult to define what is regarded within its scope, causing much discrepancy. The broad category of Geography is most effectively captured by William Hughes:

“mere names of places...are not geography... know by heart a whole gazetteer full of them would not, in itself, constitute anyone a geographer. Geography has higher aims than this: it seeks to classify phenomena (alike of the natural and of the political world, in so far as it treats of the latter), to compare, to generalize, to ascend from effects to causes, and, in doing so, to trace out the great laws of nature and to mark their influences upon man. like finally after months of shit its going to end.
PHEW.

But throughout this whole few months of PW, inevitably we all learn something.
On my part, i learnt about tolerance. Its not just the same old thing about not arguing and having diplomatic conversations and solving problems in a diplomatic, nice nice way. However it was a whole different challenge of having close friends in the same group, that at times, when opinions differ, it was so hard to be partial. My group wasnt like some certain friend's group, where everyone had a common person to dislike, and after doing PW they all gathered to bitch about that one person. Its just different cause the people i usually bitch with are those in my group, it just make no sense to bitch at all.

So all in all, it was basically learning to agree to disagree, just because, we all have different viewpoints and ideas. The success of a project would be shown when we can pull out the best idea out of all the ideas, irregardless of who suggested it. I guess then this will be a lesson to me for a very long time.

Meeting dear ol' mr tan yew hwee in the morning's kinda amusing.
it amuses up your entire day,
we apart from the part about results.

where he acknowledges its ridiculous to drop econs to h1 cause its no help at all.
and the part he wanted to throw the biscuit tin at me when i said i got a U for econs because well, i didnt study at all.

okay i'll admit travelling to woodlands for national colours wasnt all that waste of my time,
cause of mr tan's great idea of doing PR with the guest of honour, Mr Teo Ser Luck, he pushed shaofang, vanessa and i to "faster faster go and take picture!!"
and we grabbed a few more along the way.
apparently P.M. Chan was standing nearby and when Mr Teo asked if we wanted to include Mr Chan in the picture, fangus sort of went "NO" under her breathe but like Mr Teo heard and verbalized her plea and ta da!
(we took a picture with Mr Chan too)
and Mr Tan refused to come into the picture cause he said he'd spoil it and proceeded to disappear into the crowd with our belongings after pushing us away.
i bet he and Mr Teo were like old soccer enemies and Mr Tan lost to Mr Teo before, so like, tension TENSION sial.

yeah and as usual angie and i would debate if a certain guy was hot or not.

i saw on tv that pole dancing gonna become the new exercise to lose weight.
you know, like yoga or rhythmic dancing things?
but im thinking,
of course you'd wanna lose weight after taking up pole dancing.
cause maybe if you're, well, FAT,
you'd kinda not stay up on the pole,
but like just, SLIDE DOWN.

anyway i think its really silly people come up with all sorts of ways to lose weight.

so i rushed down after worship to guide sonix in their game against ntu and sadly we lost 5-1. but take courage, they havent trained for like a month and for them still can make it lah. still, the game was littered with silly errors and bad calls and noisy coach and no hits. although i have to admit that probably it was kelly's pitching that saved them from a more embarrassing defeat, there were happy points in the game and we failed to capitalise on them. :(

they're quite funny batch really, i hope they do well next year. us too, haha.
anyways noisy coachs are HORRIBLE. like a certain noisy coach was making noisy noises and calling zoe an IGUANA and weird stuffs, and like trying to over call the umpire. ugh. IM NEVER EVER PLAYING FOR HIM. hmmph.

then afterward our spartans game got rained out so everything POSTPOONED. (hahaha) yeah and belle and i suddenly felt so free! like, we had absolutely nothing to do, NOTHING. first time in so long sia. and im not gloating at the J2s and sec 4s but its a new feeling we started to dread, cause we were BORED STIFF. sigh. so ~~we went to party~~ we went home. -.-

GIRLFRIEND DAY!
spent my life yesterday slackingaway whee.
life after promos is kinda fun, like, :)
at least one week of rest before we start training all over again,
